Common questions
How much do your cakes cost?
Cakes start at $100 and cupcakes at $30 for 6. The final price depends on size, how many layers, and the detail in the design, so send me your idea and I'll come back with a number.
What size cake do I need?
It depends on how many people you're feeding. As a rough guide a 15cm (6 inch) feeds about 8 to 12 slices, and a 20cm (8 inch) feeds about 16 to 24 slices. Tell me your headcount in the enquiry and I'll recommend a size.
How far ahead should I order?
The earlier the better, since spots are limited. Lead time depends on the size and detail of your cake, how many you need and whether your date is still free. Send me the details and I'll tell you what is possible.
Where do I pick up?
Orders are pick-up only from Altona Meadows. I'll arrange a time with you before your order is booked and send the exact address after booking.
Do you do gluten-free or cater for allergies?
Gluten-free recipes are available. My kitchen also handles wheat, egg, nuts and dairy, so I can't guarantee a completely allergen-free cake. Tell me about any allergies when you enquire and I'll be upfront about what I can do.
How do I book?
Send an enquiry through the order form and I'll reply within 24 hours. Once we agree on the cake, price, date and pick-up details in writing, your order is booked. No deposit needed.
Changes and cancellations?
Message me as soon as you can. If I've already bought special items or started work for your order, a reasonable cancellation fee may apply to cover those costs. I'll explain any fee before charging it.
